Quote:
For National Eligibility Test, master's degree in any discipline from a recognized university that is approved by UGC is required with at least 55% marks in master's degree. So even after doing master's degree in M.Sc in Biotechnology, you are not eligible for the NET exam as your university is not UGC approved. There is no upper age limit for candidates of any category appearing for lectureship post and upper age limit for Junior Research Fellowship is 28 years. Re: Can I appear for CSIR UGC NET exam after doing MSc Biochemistry from EIILM University of Sikkim?
Sorry to say but you are not eligible for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility test because of the fact that your university from which you have completed your master's degree is not approved by UGC.
EIILM is not approved by UGC. Only those candidates can apply for the NET exam who has done master's degree from a UGC recognized university with at least 55% marks in master's degree. So first pursue your master 's degree from recognized university then only you can become eligible for the NET exam. |
