Re: Career opportunities after B.Tech if there are less chances of campus placements?
Actually A company looks for a candidate who is well capable for their offering position that is job
for that position they will check the applicants capability by their academics this is the strategy followed by most of the companies why i'am saying all these is because the interviewer will have a great concern towards your academics i.e., he will check your academics by evaluating your percentages May be most of the HR's will look at your progress from 10th to your graduation I guess if you have a forward exponential growth in your percentages only you can impress the interviewer with your marks that is for example you must have percentages in this manner 10th : 60% 12th : 70% Degree : 65 to 70% this will look good for the interviewer he thinks that you are a hardworker and can achieve career progress(Simultaneously company's progress) gradually like wise your percentages you may have most chances to get in to the jobs with progressing percentages than the declining percentages if you have some exceptional talents like communication skills language skills exclusive subject skills then percentages will not at all matter.. So either you should have good percentages or good talent to get a excellent job .. Best wishes ~aditya~ |

Re: Career opportunities after B.Tech if there are less chances of campus placements?
there are so many career option after completion of B.Tech. you may go for Job or you may go for higher study.
if there is a less chance for campus placement then you have to try for off campus. most of the reputed company conduct off campus for recruitment of candidate in the various cities. so you have to appear in that type of Off campus and clear all the stages to be selected for the job. to apply for TCS off campus click here to apply for CTS off campus click here from the various job website you will get details of various off campus periodically. you may apply for various government job and also for non technical job like civil services, bank officer and many more job for which graduation degree is required. you may also go for higher study. if you are technically strong then you may go for M.Tech and if you are not technically strong then go for MBA. best of luck. |

If there are less chance of getting place on campus.
Then you can apply for off- campus placement. you can apply for Government jobs, PSU, further studies etc.. But its good if you get placed in college on- campus itself. Try hard, prepare well, try to improve you aptitude , communication skill and technical knowledge. So don't loose hope work hard and definitely you will achieve your target. All the Best... |

Re: Career opportunities after B.Tech if there are less chances of campus placements?
Hello,
There are lots of opportunities for the Engineering Graduates, even if you do not get selected in the campus interviews, you need not to worry much because its not that all of them are selected through their college campus. Every now and then we can see outside campus interviews being organised by some of the reputed companies like TCS,Infosys,Wipro,Accenture,etc.... There are also other opportunities which you can find out by checking the websites www.freshersworld.com or job portals like naukri.com,monster.com. So don't get dejected even if you are not selected in your campus ...there are still enormous opportunities in outside world, you just need to identify them by making good use of your time. You can even try for the Government sector jobs like in BEL,NTPC,BHEL,ONGC,SAIL,P.O. in banks.....etc... So keep your eyes and mind wide open to grab these oppotunities... GOOD LUCK. |

Re: Career opportunities after B.Tech if there are less chances of campus placements?
Hello friend..!
First of all ,, dont be tensed..and dont loose your confidence..You are a btech holder...(or about to become so) Feel the pride...and work at your skills properly...What i'll suggest you is..Do the preparations for Aptitude test,Group discussion, etc..and see the frequently asked interview questions on internet....Prepare yourself accordingly... Keep searching for various govt sectors jobs..Follow the link :- www.psuindia.in If you dont get placed during on-campussing, dont be disheartened... Keep trying for off-campussings as well... For TCS..you can register online .The link is:- www.careers.tcs.com Even if you dont find yourself placed...then try other options like banking sector..which is recruiting many people nowadays... Friend..Theres plenty of jobs available...The only thing is you have to keep trying...with a positive spirit... Best of luck!! |

Re: Career opportunities after B.Tech if there are less chances of campus placements?
There are two ways to get a job: through in campus placement or through out campus
placement. So dont worry, if job placement is less in a college then there is another chance of out campus placement. You can visit the out campus placement with your degree and resume and can satisfy them with your talent. You can also go for higher study. Best wishes! |

Re: Career opportunities after B.Tech if there are less chances of campus placements?
dear friend,
As you are saying about less chances of campus placement, then you can apply for Off-campus drive.. In which field you have more interest you can apply for a job in that field through off-campus drive.. So, you have to go to the off-campus drive after passing out the B.tech course.. you can also apply for PSU exams ...After qualifying the exam you will get an opportunity to get a job in PSU's.. If you don't get a job then you can apply for higher studies.. You can go for courses like- M.tech- If you have interest in technical field and you want to gather more knowledge in your field then go for M.tech after completion of B.tech .. For that you have to appear in GATE exam... MBA- If you have interest in management field and you want to go in a separate line then go for MBA course.. Which has a bright future prospect.. For that you have to appear in entrance exams like - CAT,MAT, XAT,SNAP etc.. Now you decide to go for which field... All the best.. |

Re: Career opportunities after B.Tech if there are less chances of campus placements?
If you think your chance are very less to get a placement in a campus then it means you would not have very good academic marks. I suggest you to go in government job. There is a exam conducted by different PSU, every year. You should have to prepare for these PSUs and if you will succeed then your all academic marks black hole goes in air. No one tell your marks after you will recruited.
Another option is Bank PO. GOOD LUCK |
