I am studying in B.Sc. III in LADY DOAK COLLEGE. Electronics, physics and maths are my main subjects. I want to make my career in Physics. Please tell me career opportunities in astrophysics and optics. also please tell me which are the good institutes offering M.Sc. in physics. Also tell me about the admission procedure in these institutes.

There are jobs in astronomy, in either university teaching/research or government research Nasa/ESO/MPIA etc (depends on your nationality)
Then there are all the general physics jobs in industry.Then all the numerate graduate jobsThen all the Dilbert jobs.

hey so currently you are doing bsc in physics so after completing it ,Go for iit-jam,GATE exams an make a good rank so that u could do your msc in IITs,IISc etc which gives u many benefits to your career
after 2 years of msc in physics/applied physics/astronomy/engineering physics/ nuclear physics etc as of your interest
then u can go for ugc NET exam qualify it and go for phd.......
another otpion u have is u can seek a job in ISRO,DRDO after your Msc,so that u can do your phd along with a tag of ISRO,DRDO....
