Hello,
After B.E. generally the best idea is to go for a job. If you do not want to go for a job or do not have a job in hand, then you can take up MBA after this. Already you have a technical degree. Now if you can club this with a business degree then it will be really good for your career. MBA people(if eligible and has proper knowledge) earn quite a lot of money. If you can give in your level best hard work in studying and understanding this subject well, then you will be paid back well in terms of an MBA job. You can opt for business jobs in abroad also and settle in abroad. |

The scope for Civil Engineers in IT sector is not good enough. Your best option is the government jobs. There are two options for you.
PSU IES Public Sector Undertaking or PSU is naturally a good choice for Civil Engineers. You will be working is some of the top PSU companies in the country and naturally the salary is also good. You should meet the following criteria. Eligibility 1. At least 60 percent marks in B.Tech. 2. There should be no pending backlogs. 3. Age limit is 21 to 30 years. 4. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC. 5. SC/ST are eligible for 5 years relaxation. 6. A valid GATE score. PSU List VIZAG STEEL BSNL IOCL Bridge & Roof Ltd DMRC HEC MECON Ltd SJVNL NALCO Indian Engineering Service is also a good option for you. Engineering candidates of very few branches can apply for IES, luckily Civil Engineering is one of them. By passing IES exam you will be eligible for jobs in government departments. Eligibility 1. B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university. 2. There is no percentage criteria. 3. Age limit for IES is 21 to 30 years. 4. Relaxation for OBC is 3 years in upper age limit. 5. While for SC/ST, relaxation is 5 years. |
