actually chief engineers onboard a foreign going vessel normally earns around Rs.5,00,000 per month and in some companies they earn much more than that. Y am saying this to u is coz in an area u mentioned that chief engineers can earn upto 1,85,000 only. am working onboard as 3r engineer and am getting 1,85,000 per month. it doesnt mean that u will get more pay if u do a pg in marine engineering degree. for example, if u do HND - Marine engineering or B.E. Marine Engineering or a pg diploma in marine engineering or a graduate in marine engineering.... u will be joining as a cadet only, then its ur talent to get ur licence...
good to do the course in reputed colleges ...
