I am a student of 12th standard and i wanter to know about marine enginnering

Most of the space in this world is occupied by water. Thus it is essential to use the water bodies in order to develop and advance. This idea gave birth to marine engineering. Most of the countries are dependent on the tourism and trade through the water bodies. Marine engineering is a field which deals with the ships and navigation instruments. It deals with naval architecture and science.
The basic educational qualification needed to become a marine engineer is a four year BE degree in marine engineering. Usually admission is taken on the basis of entrance exam held on All-India Basis. The two best institutes in this field are T S Chanakya, Mumbai, and the Marine Engineering Research Institute (MERI), Kolkata. Pros:- There is a huge scope after completion of marine engineering course. You can get lucrative career option if you excel in this field. You can work in industries like shipping, ship manufacturing, steel industry, power sector, manufacturing sector, consultancy firm. Cons:- It is a challenging field and one can survive if one is efficient enough to work. Yes, the top notch institutes take admission on the basis of JEE exam scores. Apart from Jee other entrance exams are:- -Marine Engineering & Research Institute Entrance Exam -Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test -Marine Engineering & Research Institute Entrance Exams -Indian maritime University Common Entrance Test In order to become chief marine engineer, you need to have a very good service record right from the time when you begin you career in this field. The salary depends on the post and the company in which you are recruited. The lowest post in marine engineering gets around 8000 per month as salary. Sir I have scored 65% In 12th exam and i have a bifocals subject electronics
I like both marine as well as electronics can i get job related to electronics in marine ? What are the qualification i must need to do it? |

The subjects include - English - Applied Mathematics - Physics and Electronics - Computer Science - Marine Management Minimum Requirement for Marine Engineering. Eligibility Unmarried (male/female) Indian Citizens. Limited foreign nationals may be admitted with approval of Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India. Age Maximum: 20 years old on 1st October in the year of admission. SC/ST: relax able by 5 years |
