i am civil engg. can i get job in merchant navy....please tell me can i do it

No with a civil engineering background you are not eligible to join merchant navy. Engineers with marine engineering background are normally eligible to apply. Even candidates from mechanical and electrical field can apply. But they will have to pursue a one year course in the field of marine engineering for being eligible for this field. So you need think of other career options based on the civil engineering course.
