CDS Stands for Combined Defence Service Examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year as namely CDS I and CDS II .

CDS II advertisement was already released on 02/06/12 and Last date for submitting the application on 02/06/12 .

The examination will be conducted on 16/Sept/12 .

This examination is conducted for admission to IMA , NA , AFA and OTA Examination .

Selection Process :- Written Exam , SSB Interview , Medical Test .

Union Public Service Commission conducts the CDS (Combined Defence Services) Exam twice a year for admission to the various academies of the defence forces!

Eligibility Criteria for CDS :-

1. For Indian Military Academy/Officers' Training Academy: Degree from a recognized university or equivalent

2. For Naval Academy: B.Sc. with Physics & Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering

3. For Air Force Academy: Degree of a Recognized University with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering.
