This examination is conducted for the admission of candidates into various fields like :

Indian Military Academy
Indian Naval Academy
Air Force Academy
Officers Training Academy
Officers Training Academy

The Eligibility for all the above fields are like :

For Indian Military Academy -
Unmarried male candidates between 18-23 years only are eligible .
Must have a Degree of a recognized university

For Indian Naval Academy -
Unmarried male candidates between 18-23 only are eligible.
Must have a Degree in Engineering .

For Air Force Academy -
Unmarried male candidates between 18-22 only are eligible .
Must have a Degree of a recognized university (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering .
Candidates who are studying in final year degree course and have yet to pass final year degree examination or equivalent examination can apply for the examination, but they will be required to submit proof of passing the degree examination .
