Future scope of Mechatronics Engineering?
Whether there is good scope for mechatronics engineers in the future? what kind of job they will get? whether they are eligible for govt jobs like bhel, ongc, indian railway? in which institution it is best to pursue undergraduate in mechatronics engineering? waiting for the reply....

Re: Future scope of Mechatronics Engineering?
Dear,
What is Mechatronics? Mechatronics is the future of engineering. It combines the principles of mechanics with electronics and computer systems in applications across many industries. Mechatronic engineers design and create machinery that integrates with electronics and computer control. From everyday consumer products such as microwaves, washing machines and DVD players to travel and transport applications in cars, boats and aircraft, Mechatronics is at play. Why study Mechatronics? The new degree offers an exciting world of opportunities. You’ll not only possess the knowledge and skills to work in Mechatronics, but you’ll also be able to work in traditional engineering fields such as mechanical, electronic, electrical and computer systems engineering, and project management. Career Opportunities In a world continually transformed by technology, you’ll be in high demand in organisations ranging from large, global corporations to smaller, niche firms in many diverse fields such as automotive, aerospace, defence, product development, manufacturing and processing plants, software and equipment. Thanks. |

Re: Future scope of Mechatronics Engineering?
hi
guys as all said mechatronics is a vast n cool subject but it is completely based on the future, u will have a huge opportunities in future but for present its hard i say it becoz i have done my B.E in mechatronics n i see still many of us search for the job either u have 2 be topper in wat u do. The other solution is to do any extra courses as u persu with ur B.E in mechatronics plus courses like Embeded or plc, scada etc., like tat.... |

Re: Future scope of Mechatronics Engineering?
I want to Study Mechatronics But The Institution will give me a Degree of Bachelors of Electronics Majors in Mechatronics. I will ask that I found job on Electronics Engineer Based or Mechatronics Engineer Based. People Called me Electronics Engineer or Mechatronics Engineer? Is there any difference that I have a Degree of Electronics Majors in Mechatronics. Everyone called me a Mechatronics Engineer? Because my Majors of Subjects in Mechatronics. I wil Survive in Mechatronics Industry or not?

Re: Future scope of Mechatronics Engineering?
Sir this is the question which decides my life.
I did my BE in Mechanical Engineering. Now i have two courses in VIT(Vellore Institute of Technology). 1. Mtech - Mechatronics 2. Mtech - Cad/Cam I am in a great confusion which course is having a great future by the time I finish my Mtech degree or by next year. which course has broader range of career, higher salary, foreign opportunities? I have interest in both fields. So pls guide me to take the best option sir... Please reply me as soon as possible sir, I have only few days to decide. |

Re: Future scope of Mechatronics Engineering?
'Mechatronics is the synergistic combination of electronics, mechanical and computer systems integrated via a control architecture'
A mechatronic engineer designs mechanical devices that incorporate electrical, software and mechanical components.Examples include a more efficient washing machine, cameras, laser printers, hybrid autos and garage door openers. A mechatronics Engineer deals with a system that has many electromechanical components. Collaborate with vehicle dynamics group on developing advanced systems The field of mechatronics requires that engineers have broad exposure to software programming, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering. A mechatronic engineer needs to possess good communication, problem solving and creative skills Graduates can work in automobiles, manufacturing, gas and oil, mining, transport, defense, robotics, aerospace and aviation. |

Re: Future scope of Mechatronics Engineering?
friend...
Mechatronics is mechanical, electrical and electronic systems combined with information technology. the thing that sets mechatronics(MCT) apart is that an MCT engineer does not need to have an indepth knowledge on the design of mechanical, electronic or computers... he just has to know their proper implementation to achive the desired control... Therefore, he needs to have the 'sufficient' knowledge about them.. However, his design domain is the system as a whole, and not its individual components.. This is what the crux of MCT is about... foreseeable future of MECHATRONIC ENGINEERING Aerospace industry Automotive industry Chemical Processing Computers Communications Education Electronics Healthcare Manufacturing and process Marine engineering Mining Research and development Your interests and talents:which are require to have unlimited growth in this industries You are interested in engineering - mathematics - physics You are quick to grasp technical relationships You like planning and organising You enjoy working on the PC You work accurately and carefully You are sociable and enjoy helping people You like working in a team best luck |

Re: Future scope of Mechatronics Engineering?
friend mechatronics is an emerging branch and is basically mech+electronics engg.the scope of this field is still evolving since its like avionics and some other courses are new to indian industry but the field has good potential for improvement since it mixes 2 core engg. branches. mechatronics is avialable in mmu-mullana and also in the univ. school of ptu

Re: Future scope of Mechatronics Engineering?
Mechatronics is the combination of mechanical engineering, electronic engineering and computer engineering.
The purpose of this interdisciplinary engineering field is the study of automata from an engineering perspective and serves the purposes of controlling advanced hybrid systems. The word itself is a portmanteau of 'Mechanics' and Electronics |

Re: Future scope of Mechatronics Engineering?
Future scope of Mechatronics Engineering is very bright.
but undergraduate in mechatronics is not a good option. first go for a particular stream then from there you can go for your masters in mechatronics. that is right procedure to achive your target. companies do not prefer candidate passed b.tech in mechatronics. and in india finding a job in mechatronics is tough. but you will become a global citizen if you look outside india. first complete tour b.tech in CS/IT , ME, EE, EIE, EEE. then only think about doing mechatronics. |
