COMEDK stands for Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental colleges of Karnataka Exam conduct own entrance exam(COMEDK exam) for admission to courses like Engineering, Medical and Dental colleges within Karnataka state. The score will be valid for one year.

Syllabus : The entrance test is based on the existing syllabus of 10+2/2nd PUC.

Exam Pattern :

Paper 1 Compulsory for all : Physics, chemistry.
No of Questions : 120 MCQ
Negative marking : No.

Paper 2 : Only Engineering Student : Maths
No of Questions : 60 MCQ
Negative Marking : No.

Paper 3. Only for Medical Student : Biology
No of Questions : 60 MCQ

# COMEDK is basically a entrance examination conducted for admission for undergraduate and graduate level medical courses in colleges in Karnataka.

# Every year COMEDK make admission for around 600 seats in 19 Dental Colleges as well as 12 Medical Colleges in Karnataka.

# Required educational qualification:

* Must have obtained minimum 50% marks by candidate belonging to General category.
* Must have obtained minimum 40% marks by candidate belonging to Reserved category.

# Other important detail about COMEDK are:

* There will be two papers (each of 3 hours duration).
* First paper will pertaining to subjects Physics and Chemistry.
* Second paper will pertaining to subjects Biology and English.
* Each test will be of 180 marks.
* Each paper is of Objective Type with multiple choices.
* Candidate will get one mark for every correct answer/response.
* There is no provision of any negative marking.
