Is it compulsory to completed D.El.Ed to write the CTET entrance examination?

Hi, I am pursuing my 3rd semester of Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). I wish to apply for CTET entrance examination. Am I eligible to apply now and write the CTET exam or do I need to complete the D.El.Ed first?

Yes, you are eligible to apply for CTET. Examination is conducted by NTA.

CTET is conducted for recruitment of teacher in government schools.

The required minimum educational qualification varies with post such as Primary teacher, TGT or PGT.

It is prerequisite to have D.El.Ed or B.Ed qualification to appear in CTET. There is no age limit to appear in examination.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
