Iit's nothing but indian institute of technology.tho most important and top institute in india.they are world famous.if you want to join m.tech in iit you must take gate(graduate aptitude test in engineering).the eligibility is you are in 3rd year or final year engineering/technology/arch student.also apply for masters degree students.if you are interested in gate enterance exam you can apply.the application forms are available for iit office,nationalished banks.mostly september middle the application forms are issued.dead line is october last mostly.the examination is conducted for january last and february first weak.for further details you can see the official websites of iits.in tamilnadu our zone iit madras.the website is www.iitm.ac.in/gate/.
