plz tell me how to prepare for ies mech engg. how many attempts are alloted for this exam & tell me is their any ies coaching centers in PUNE

Well IES the top Civil Service..

this exam will be in June of every year...

preparation will be better if you take coaching as the questions will be technically critical its better to prepare infront of professionals than individual preparation.

Coming to No. of attempts it has certain things to consider..

if you are of a reserved category then there's relaxation in your No. of attempts

until you reach your max age limit you can give any no. of attempts if you belong to reserved category's

coming to general category only four attempts are allowed..

so keep it in mind

Following branch candidates are only eligible to apply for the IES
