should i opt science or arts after 10 to become an interior designer? Pls pls answer me i have less tym to make this decision.......

Interior Designer is a person who involves in desiging and organizing the interior of buildings, houses and offices. So, one should be good enough in these skills to perform well as Interior designer.

In order to become interior designer, there is no obligation that one should have to choose science stream or arts stream at 10+2. Apart from 10+2, what is needed to become interior desginer is art based or designer based higher education.

For Interior Designing or Interior Decorating, you just have to have that zeal, creativity and the ability to re-invent and improvise. You must be resourceful.
There is no criteria as to what subjects you need.

You can also do B.Arch(Int Designing), a 5-year degree course. This prograamme is rigorous and grooms the candidate to the best of his abilities. However, you need to have PCM as your qualifying subjects.

Eligibility for Interior designing course:-

1.One must have complete the 12th in science with physics, chemistry and maths/biology..

2.One must have 55% aggregate in 12th....

To become a good interior designer one must be creative, innovative..
One must have management skills , communication skills, artistic skills..

They should have a high level of technical knowledge about past and present styles of architecture, computer-aided design skills, artworks, building materials and infrastructure, texture and lightings. They should be able to calculate the cost of a design and to work out a budget. Interior designers need to have good eyesight and normal Colour vision.

So, if you have all these qualities in you then you should go for this field..
