Re: Courses after B.Tech (Biotechnology)?
After B.tech Biotechnology, You Can Do Various Courses According To Your Personal Interest. So, After This Course You Can do MBA, MS, So, I will Suggest You Just Go for MS Course Because It will Helps You To Increase Your Knowledge And Its A Better Course For The Future Prospects Also.
To Opt MS, Because In Nowadays People in Biotech are More Interested Into Research So Thats Why MS Course is the best Option. So, Choice Is Totally Your, Either You Can Do MBA Or MS Course And Both these Courses Are Good For Future Prospects. But MS Will be the Best Options For Biotechnology Students To Make Your Career Bright In Future. |

Re: Courses after B.Tech (Biotechnology)?
Dear Friend;
Greeting for the day; The best thing to do after B.Tech (Biotech) is to do post graduation in Genomic/Genetic or Nano-Technology. These are the coming things of future and will be in great demand. Few institutes offer these at present and you have to search for the right institute/university. Simple Bio-tech will have little value. Other option is to do M.B.A. in Bio-tech related stream. Thanks |

Re: Courses after B.Tech (Biotechnology)?
Your decision to go for higher studies totally depends upon your interest.There are various courses you can opt for like M.tech,MBA,MS and other such related courses.
If you wish to explore your subject then M.tech or MS is the best options according to me.There are various colleges you can opt for M.tech in India through the GATE entrance exam.Some of the colleges offering M.tech courses in Bio-technology are:- IIT Delhi,IIT Kharagpur,Jadavpur University,Anna University,University of Calcutta, Banaras Hindu University,Aligarh Muslim University,Jawaharlal Nehru University. There are many more colleges in India offering this course but i have only mentioned a few of them.If you wish to study in foreign countries then you need to go through the GRE TOEFL examination. Coming to the MBA stream you need to go through exams like CAT/MAT to get a seat in top B-schools of India. |

Re: Courses after B.Tech (Biotechnology)?
you can do m.tech in bio technology or you can also go for MBA after b.tech. but m.tech will be best for you because it will provide you detailed study of biotechnology whereas mba will entirely change your stream to management. for doing m.tech you will have to give GATE exam and for doing MBA you will have to give CAT exam but the choice is yours.

Re: Courses after B.Tech (Biotechnology)?
Hi friend, As you have done B.Tech, if you do your MBA related to your core field then it will help you in great way. One of my friend is also doing MBA in Power Mgmt from UPES, Dehradun. HE told me about the unique and core sector related programs available in UPES. Like Energy trading, Port and shipping mgmt, Logistics mgmt, International business, Aviation Mgmt, Infrastructure Mgmt etc. UPES has excellent faculty and world class infrastructure. So, if these programs interests you then look for UPES.
