What is the criteria for admission in DTU?Is there any policy or rule for aspirants who are not residents of Delhi?

Eligibility and the seat distribution are mentioned below

Admissions to DTU UG courses are done on the basis of AIEEE entrance exam conducted by CBSE. 85% seats are for delhi residents and remaining 15% for all india aspirants.

Well, to get into DTU you will have to answer an entrance exam which is well known as AIEEE. Its an all India entrance exam which after you apply you will be called for counseling. DTU doesnt have any other entrance for admission except AIEEE

Since 2010 DTU is taking admission through AIEEE as before it was conducting its own entrance test.

There is 15% seats reserved for outside Delhi candidates. So you can get in DTU through those 15% seats.

Criteria remains the same only thing is that there is only 15% seats

To get admission in dtu has two ways -

1) it conduct own entrance exam for delhi student, 85% seats reserved for them.

2) 15% seats are for those who do not belong to delhi ,these seats are though aieee exam.

So clear the aieee exam if you want to get admission in dtu.

You want To get Admissions into DTU through Outsiders Quota.So, yes you can take admissions there but

before taking admission into this University you need to crack AIEEE exam which is All India Based.

If you score Good rank in that then you can apply for DTU under 15% quota for outsiders.

Outsiders are Those who are Non - Delhi candidates applying for DTU.

DTU has published their form in the month of May.
after the result of AIEEE exam the admission on the basis of cut-off of the AIEEE criteria.
you can purchase a form from the dtu or selected banks.

Let me tell you that you have choosen a best institute in india. DTU used conduct its own entrance examination and students used to get selected through that.
But because of some provisions by Govt of India and to make admission procedure more flexible DTU is taking students on the basis of AIEEE in which 15% is reserved for outside Delhi students. For further information plz check its official website.

To get admission in DTU, you have to score 60 percent or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematcs only then you will be eligible for admission to the frst semester of the Bachelor of Technology Course.

And 85% quota are for delhi students and rest 15% quota are availiable for, outside delhi students to get admission in DTU.

I am from ourside delhi, hoping to get AIEEE rank around 5000. What shall I do in order to get admission in DTU.

You have fair chances of getting admissions. You may check cutoffs of last year and this year first round on http://aglasem.com
