Re: Cut off marks required for open category students for direct admission in 2nd year of B.Tech/B.E.?
B.Tech stands for Bachelor of Technology.
B.E stands for Bachelor of Engineering. Both B.E/B.Tech are 4 year undergraduate courses. Only the students who have completed Diploma course in any stream can get admission in these courses directly in 2nd year while other students who want to join these courses after completing 12th boards examination in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can take admission in 1st year only. To get admission in these courses in any college, students need to qualify entrance examination. Top colleges of India offering these courses are -Indian Institute of Technology(IIT) -National Institute of Technology(NIT) -Birla Institute of Technology and Science(BITS) -Vellore Institute of Technology(VIT) To get admission in IIT and NIT, students need to qualify JEE Mains and Advance. For BITS and VIT, students need to qualify BITSAT and VITEEE respectively. Most of the state govt conduct their own entrance examinatio while others accepts JEE Mains score. |
