What is the maximum rank reqired to get admission in any of the IIT for M.TECH through GATE, for MECHANICAL students, from OPEN category?

It is impossible to predict,it varies every year according to the demand.In the rescission period every student goes for higher studies like M.Tech,MBA.But at normal time most of the students goes for jobs.So it is impossible to say minimum or last rank.

My score in gate 2011 is 38.33. Are there any chances that I can get admission in IIts

Hi,

yes your question is correct. It depends on the particular year.
I think, the minimum Percentile required to get seat in IIT would be 99 percentile.
Its not that easy to get seat in IIT. Normally, the score to be around 46 GATE Score.
Prepare well for this.
