i want to know the cutoff rank for admission to btech course in nit allahabad .also what will cutoff rank for electrical engineering in 2010

Hello...Your rank sshould be around 6000 to get a seat in NIT Allahabad because it doesn't come under the top NIT institutes.The best are NIT Warangal and Suratkal.So you better aim for them.
Electrical engineering is more in demand so the better rank you get ,more are the chances for you to get electrical engineering.If i am not wrong.It should be around 5000 All India rank.

hey it's depend on ur aieee rank...if u r from general catageory then ur rank should be under 5500 as it's one of best nit in northen region.....as m in nitk surathkal i get eee in 3757 rank...so i think so u can get it at above mention rank.....so all the best dude.....keep asking question is nice to help u guys...

opening rank:492
closing rank:1752

by all state qoute:
opening rank:2170

at first round of counselling.
these no get increased in furture counselling.

i am from IIT delhi 2nd year....got admsn through aieee rank in august......so every one work hard..dont take tension about your college...and whatever u got admitted...take it happily ..nd enjoy the 4yrs of ur life vry violently.......god bless.
