The notification for S.C.R.A. examination 2011 has been published.

The last date to apply for the exam is 25th April, 2011.

The written test will be conducted on 31st July, 2011.

The detailed notification published by UPSC for SCRA-2011 is attached with this message.

Refer the notification for any details.

Read the notification carefully before filling up the application form.

First of all SCRA means
Special Class Railway Apprentices Examination.This exam is being held by UPSC.

Dates of SCRA 2011:

Mechanical Department of Indian Railways will be held by the Union Public Service Commission on 31st July 2011 in accordance with the Rules published by the Ministry of Railways (Railways Board) in the Gazette of India dated the 26th March, 2011.

SCRA Last Date for Applications :

1. SCRA Online Application 2011 :

The SCRA Online Applications can be filled upto 25th April�0„2 2011 till 11.59 PM after which the link will be disabled.

2. SCRA Offline Application 2011 :

All SCRA Offline applications must reach the following address eitherby hand or by Post / Speed Post or by Courier, on or before the 25th April 2011.

Part I::

Written examination carrying a maximum of 600 marks in the subjects as shown below.


Part II::

Personality Test carrying a maximum of 200 marks in respect of only those candidates
who are declared qualified on the results of written examination

Important Dates (Tentative) for SCRA 2011: -

1. Date of Notification = August 2011

2. Last date for submission of SCRA 2011 Online Form = September 20, 2011.

3. Last date for submission / receipt of SCRA 2011 Online Form = September 27, 2011

4. Date of SCRA Exam = December 18, 2011

The SCRA Notification Was Declared And It Was Availiable In The UPSC Official Website.

The Notification Was Declared On 26/March/2011.

And The Last Date Of Apply For This Examination Was 25/April/2011.

The Written Examination Was Going To Be Held On 31/July/2011.
