NDA Exam is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year.

This is the common entrance exam for the candidates in order to be placed in variety of Defence services like
-Army wing
-Navy wing
-Air Force wing.

The minimum academic qualification with which a candidate can appear for this exam is by completion of 12th class with any of the stream for Army wing.

But in order to join Navy and Air Force wings, one should possess Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects in 12th class.

As per age criteria, one should possess an age between 16 1/2 years to 19 years to be eligible for this exam.

Here are the important dates of NDA I Exam for this year.

Date of commencement of notification : 31-12-2011
Last date for the receipt of completed application forms : 30-01-2012
Date of NDA I Exam : 15-04-2012

For NDA II Exam of this academic year, here are the important dates:

Date of commencement of notification : 05-05-2012
Last date for the receipt of completed applicaton forms : 04-06-2012
Date of NDA II Exam : 19-08-2012

The last date to apply for NDA I Exam is already over. If you are interested and if you fulfill the above mentioned eligibility criteria, you can apply and appear for NDA II Exam.

NDA is stand for National Defence Academy.NDA exam exam is conducted by UPSC in twice time in a year.

>>Academic qualification :You must passed your 12th standard examination.Your 12th subject must be Maths and Physics.Arts and commerce stream are also applicable for NDA exam in Indian Army department.

>>Your 12th percentage must be above 60%.

>>Age criteria :Your age should be within 16.5 to 19 years.

>>Nationality :You must be an Indian

>>Only Unmarried candidate are eligible for NDA exam.

If you can already apply for NDA exam then wait some time they will send the admit card in your mailing address.
