For the Banks in the Government sector exams for the Post of PO and Clerks are conducted by:
IBPS on behalf of 20 Nationalised banks SBI conducts its own exams Eligibilty for the IBPS CLERKS exams: Min educational qualifications is Graduation Pass Age should be between 20 and 28 years Eligibilty for the IBPS PO exams: Graduation Pass Age should be between 20 and 30 years OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations Eligibilty for the SBI BANK CLERKS exams: 12th Pass with Minimum 60% marks or Graduation Pass Age should be between 18 and 28 years Eligibilty for the SBI BANK PO exams: Min educational qualifications is Graduation Pass Age should be between 21 and 30 years In all these exams OBC candidates gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations Questions will be asked from the below sections in the IBPS Clerks Exams: Numerical Ability Reasoning General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry Computer Knowledge English Language Questions will be asked from the below sections in the IBPS PO Exams: Quantitative Aptitude-50 marks Reasoning- 50 marks General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry-40 marks Computer Knowledge-20 marks English Language-40 marks |

Bank Exams are in hot demand in these days. The number of candidates who are applying for bank exams are going on increasing.
Hence there is healthy competition among the candidates for various job opportunities for various banks. The entry level positions in various banks are -Clerical positions -Probationary Officers -Specialist Officers. The selection procedure would involve -Written Exam -Interview For public sector banks, IBPS is conducting common written exam for the recruitment of all these positions. When it come to private sector, each and every bank conduct its own selection procedure to recruit the candidates for the above mentioned positions. The written exam would involve 5 sections -Reasoning -Numerical Ability -General Awareness -General English -Computer Knowledge There is negative marking for the wrong answer questions and so one should have to be careful while answering the questions. You should have to secure minimum qualifying marks in each of the categories of the written exam in order to get through it. Now a days, most of the bank exams are being conducted online.
