As per your question yes, there is negative marking system in State bank , reserve bank and also in other bank exam.

The negative marking ranges from 0.25 marks to 0.5 marks.
In short if you will do four wrong questions then you will loose 1 to 2 marks.

Before attempting each question you can go through these following points as mentioned below.

- Read the question carefully before attempting .
- Try to practice more and more questions for this exam before your exam to get fully aquented with the questions to avoid mistakes.
- always try to avoid overwriting answers. make your answers once and that is to be neat and clean.
- If you are not able to answer one question then leave that one and try to answer other questions.

there is no negative marking in state bank exams and negative marking is their in reserve bank exams.

State Bank Recruitment process is done through IBPS, and test comprises of 200 questions which are objective. There is a negative mark of 0.25 or 1/4 th of the score that is allotted for a single question. IF an answer is not marked as in the instruction, such as partial or overlapped may also consider to be negatives. (For example, if you mark, two answers for a single question) Unanswered questions will not have negative marks.

State Bank Exams and Reserve Banks exams follows same procedure. There are 200 objective questions. Every section contains 40 or 50 questions.
You will get 1 marks for every right answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer from the right answers. You will loose 1 marks for every 4 wrong answers.

For all bank exams they have negative marking :
->For every wrong answer 0.25 marks will be reduced .
->For every correct question you will get 1 mark.
so, if you made four wrong answers 1 mark will be reduced.
You must thorough with below mentioned subjects:
1.General awareness
2.Quantitative aptitude
3.English
4.Mental ability
5.Logical reasoning.
