Re: Difference between: B.IT, B.tech CSE. B.tech IT, BSc Computer science, BCA
Hi friend,
one by one: B.IT : there is no such type of course exist, it would be BSc IT : Bachelor in science information technology(3 yr) BTech CSE: Btech in computer science engineering(4 yr) Btech IT: Btech in information technology(4 yr) BSc computer science and BCA: bachelor in computer application.(3 yr) Now, as I think , you are a student of science in 12th or 11th standard and equally worried about your career as others. You want to make your career in the computer's field. If these assumptions are ok then i would like to suggest you take BTech IT branch without putting much opinion in mind. If you want to know why then please search older thread posted by me in this regard. |

Re: Difference between: B.IT, B.tech CSE. B.tech IT, BSc Computer science, BCA
there so many graduate degree course on computer. they are somewhere difference from each other may in course duration or in syllabus and also the scope and job opportunity is also different for different course.
1.B.IT-there is no course it will be B.Sc in IT. it's a 3years graduate course on information technology. 2.B.Tech CSE-it is a engineering branch. it' a 4 years course in computer science engineering. 3. B.Tech IT- it is also a engineering course for 4 years in information technology. it's very similar to B.Tech CSE. but there is also some difference. 4.B.sc computer science- it's a bachelor degree course which is taught in general college. it ia a 3 years course. 5.BCA-BCA is a 3 years course on computer application. among this i will suggest B.Tech CSE. because job opportunity and scope is very high after this course. if you are unable to take admission in B.tech CSE then you may try for B.tech IT as a next priority course. best of luck. |

Re: Difference between: B.IT, B.tech CSE. B.tech IT, BSc Computer science, BCA
Well BTech Computer science is all about computers and their programming. They normally deal with softwares While BTech IT deals with hardware mostly and it also consists a bit of Computer science too.
In BSc IT and BSc Computer Science they teach the base of computer but not so advanced as BTech and they are more of practicals than theory. BCA is all about computer applications and i think its quite similar to BTech but contains more of software programming |

Re: Difference between: B.IT, B.tech CSE. B.tech IT, BSc Computer science, BCA
BIT can be a short form of BSC IT. It is 3year bachelor’s degree in information technology.BTech IT is engineering course of 4 years duration in Information Technology.BSC Computer Science is also a bachelor’s degree of 3 years. BCA is Bachelors deree in Computer Aplication of 3 year duration. if you are interested in hard core computers you can choose an engineering course. Or else, a bachelor’s degree.

Re: Difference between: B.IT, B.tech CSE. B.tech IT, BSc Computer science, BCA
You please specify the degrees more clearly as there is no course B.IT. I think you are speaking about B.Sc IT which is Bachelor in Science Information Technology with duration 3 years.
B.Tech CSE and B.Tech IT both are 4 years course but CSE is far better than IT. B.Sc Computer Science and BCA both are 3 years course but in comparison B.Sc Computer Science is better than BCA. In my opinion you should go for B.Tech CSE as it includes advanced technologies in it which is absent in B.Sc. |

Re: Difference between: B.IT, B.tech CSE. B.tech IT, BSc Computer science, BCA
BSc and BCA are not enough professional.
B.Tech CSE and IT have good Industrial approach and makes you ready to an industry. B.Tech CSE and IT differs in mere subjects and will be considered equal in top colleges. In the colleges than fall near and below average IT and CSE are not considered equal.CSE will be given prominence. |

Re: Difference between: B.IT, B.tech CSE. B.tech IT, BSc Computer science, BCA
U should have 60% aggregate in PCM. As btech can be only done after 60% marks in PCM by the IIT also u have to clear the IIT-JEE exam entrance . Moreover u can take up a course in which the institute can guide u about the PCM properly and u hav to give ur 500% to get through IIT ,
