Default Re: Difference between CSIR NET and CSIR JRF NET exam?

There is no difference between CSIR NET and CSIR JRF NET exam but there is difference between CSIR and UGC NET.

CSIR stands for Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. CSIR conducts National Eligibility Test for science stream candidates. CSIR NET is conducted for both Lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship for science stream candidates.

UGC conducts National Eligibility Test for Lectureship and JRF for streams other than science. Now CBSE conducts this exam on behalf of UGC. There is no upper age limit for Lectureship.

For both NET exam, minimum academic qualification required is master's degree with 55% marks.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
