what is the diffrence between moulding and casting ?...please tell me the difference

The very first process is pattern making. After it the cavity is made which is exactly opposite of shape of Casting which is to be produced. This process of making cavity is called Moulding. And pouring the molten metal to produce desired shape is called Casting.

If you look according to Mechanical Engineering point of view then:

The very first process is pattern making. After it the cavity is made which is exactly opposite of shape of Casting which is to be produced. This process of making cavity is called Moulding. And pouring the molten metal to produce desired shape is called Casting.

:: Moulding ::

In general this term means giving a shape to the molten materials at a specific temp. , there are a lot of tools for this process. It needs to be filled with molten material (typically plastic resin), the material hardens, the mold opens, and the part is ejected. The mold is reused for many parts.

:: Casting ::

This is referred for the final product. The stand-in is called a "pattern".The material loosely holds is shape, but is not a permanent, reusable form. In most cases (there are exceptions for lost wax and lost foam casting), the cavity is opened and the pattern removed. The closed cavity is filled with molten material (typically metal), and the material is allowed to harden. After it is hardened, the temporary form is brushed away from the finished part. The process is labor intensive, but there is no need to make a permanent tool that can withstand the heat of the molten material.

What is difference between moulding and casting?

actually it is same process casting is generall process to create something in wikipedia it shows difference molding start with fill of mold with material with machine while casting is the process in which non permanent mold is used

casting and moulding are the same process then why we make the casting products in moulding and vice versa???

We have injection moulding that is basically done for plastic materials and casting basically done for metals ( for ex. iron).
Mould is different from moulding mould consists of a body or a container having cavity inside in which molten metal is poured in case of casting and molten plastic is poured in case of injection moulding. After that it is solidified to acquire a desired shape.

Conclusion is that both the processes basically does the same thing. One can say moulding and casting both are same process done for two different material viz. plastics and metals respectively.
