i am asif and i am doing bca from smu de. my background is bio at+2 level. i want to do mca. Am i eigible to appear in any entrance exam of mca or can take admission in mca 2nd year. suggest some good colleges for mca courses

there are various entrance exams for stydying mca if you are doing bca.......so dnt wry about that........but there is no such possibility to get direct admission in 2nd year mca........

For persuing MCA or appearing for any MCA entrance exam having MAthematics at +2 is mandatory.

BCA Graduates can not expect Lateral Entry into MCA.

M.sc (IT, CS, ), MS, BCA+Advance Diploma in Computer Application etc. qualification is required for Laterl Entry.

no, there is no exam through which you can take take admission in 2nd year of mca through lateral entry. you will have to take admission in 1st year only.

you can apply for some university name:
lovely professional university,punjab.
amity university noida,delhi etc.

it is not possible after BCA for lateral entry you will have qualification BCA + advace diploma in computer PGDCA and many other course like MSc (CS) after this course you will get admission in 2nd year of MCA.

As you are in BCA, then you can take admission in MCA.
But you can't take admission directly in 2nd yr in MCA.
You have to qualify entrance exams conducted by many institutes & university & then you can take admission in MCA.

& there is any provision to take admission in MCA directly in 2nd yr.

It is not adviceable to opt for it. That's a not good option.

Remember success doesn't have any shortcuts.

Reputed Companies will not except your MCA, they general requirement is MCA with 3 years regular, or 6 years of studies after +2, then what will do in that condition.

Whereas for International or any global oppurtunity or International working VISA etc. when they will demand at for 18 years (from 1st std.) of continious study for master degree holder, then what will you do at that time.

Dont do the thing which spoil your life.

sorry. you can't take Direct admission in MCA 2nd year after BCA.

as you know there have no lateral exam available in the MCA courses.

you have to do 2 year course. for getting the degree of MCA.

No you can't take direct admission in MCA 2nd year after BCA as you did not had mathematics at +2 level and mathematics at +2 is mandatory.

Lateral Entry is the only way for the graduates of BCA to get into MCA.

there are many indian universities have lateral entry scheme for there mca programs.

Dear friend there is no such way that you can apply for the 2nd year MCA admisson.
but you can do the MCA after giving an entrance exam. GOOD LUCK

there is no such scheme by which you can directly enter into 2nd year of MCA. there is no lateral entry in MCA.

if you want to do MCA then there are various entrance examination for taking admission in MCA. appear in the examination and clear any one of these. then take admission in MCA.

I don't know about SMU but lateral entry to MCA fourth semester is possible in IGNOU(Indra Gandhi National Open University) and for this Maths at plus2 level is not compulsary

to all those who have the query to get admission in mca 2nd year, lets get it very clear that you can not get direct admission to mca 2nd year.
you have to study it from 1st year.
and those colleges who may offer admission to 2nd year, i would don't go for it.
studying one extra year will not let you loose jobs, it will help you however.

No friend there's no way that u can take admission in MCA 2nd year directly, after BCA u will be eligible for MCA entrance but cant take direct admission in 2nd year

To Get Admission In MCA You Have To Passed In Your Graduation Exams And You Have A Maths As A Compulsory Subject In Your 12th Exams, Only Then You Are Eligible to Appear In MCA Entrance Exams.

But I will Inform You One Thing That BCA Students Can Not Get Direct Admission In MCA 2nd Year Only Master degree students Can Get Admission In MCA Through Lateral Entry Scheme.

So, You Cant Get Admission In MCA 2nd Year, You Only get Admission In First Year.

Lateral entry to third semester of MCA is provided by IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) even without having Mathematics at 10+2 level. This entry is provided to BCA degree holders only.

Direct admission in second for MCA course after BCA is not possible. You have to give entrance test in order to do MCA course. You can do the MCA course after the completion of your BCA course.

The eligibility criteria required for the MCA course is given below:

Education qualification

The students having degree in BCA, B.Tech, BBA and B.Sc. are eligible to appear for the MCA course.

The student who have applied for the MCA course should also have mathematics at 10+2 level.

Duration of course:
The duration for the MCA course is 3 years or of 6 semesters.

How can it be possible for a student who's age is not to get instantly each & every thing but to learn something with HIS experiences & knowledge.So its better to go ahead step by step.Its beneficial for you in the long run also.And moreover this policy is not made by any university as well to take direct admission in MCA 2nd year.So first complete your BCA & then appear for the MCA entrance exam & then get an admission in it.One year is not a big one to be crossed.So always remember-
The late WE get but It must be A better one for US.

so dont loose your heart.....
you can also achieve your goals after 1 year you are expecting.....

U must join from MCA 1 year when Becholer degree in any stream.
Same rules for BCA or other.

Their is no procedure of lateral entry or direct admission in 2nd year of MCA.so you cant get admission directly in the second year.
