I have 12 history of arrears in my BE and am doing my M.Tech VLSI in VIT and expecting to be placed in core companies like Texas Instruments and NXP Semiconductors. The history of arrears will affect my placement? Do companies will not consider me because of my arrears in BE?

Every company has its own criteria for selecting candidates , but the majority of companies will not hire a student who is currently in arrears.
Thus its better to clear your arrears as soon as possible or before attending any interview.
No company hire such students.
Thus try to clear your concepts and work hard, make target to clear your arrears.
In this way only , you can achieve your target.
