does head mistress of school come under gazzeted officers??

Yes head masters do come under gazetted officers category, but not all head masters or principal. Gazetted officers are government certified officers, they are next to government in educational like matters, they hold high importance and value and are required in many day to day activities of common man life.

Only those head masters or principal are gazetted officers who are principals of any government school or a school run completely by government, not of all private colleges, they might be or not be, but every government school principal most of the times are gazetted officers.
