The market is highly competitive for every industry and the same goes for the private banks and other financial institutions. As mentioned in the article that the PO's can't leave the bank within the five year period, It's not something that the candidates are not aware of while joining the Bank. Instead of using "worst employer", we may call them "tough employer" if the whole part of the article is true, and if it is so painful working in ICICI bank, why would people join them if they have many other banks out in the market, looking for talented individuals. The only thing I can say is that the author of the article has never worked in Corporate sector because if he did, ICICI wouldn't have been the only victim in his article.

i have worked in icici..what do u know abt icici..? It is like entering in to the prostitution to earn food for your poor family..icici says: "if u want money, come and spend night with me". Do u call it a tough employer. Never make a comment unless/until u know the real truth.

dear friend....don't ever think of joining this bank..I am currently working in this so called life insurance company cum bank...its name must be.. icici prudential Ltd. ..offering some bank services too..sry to say we are told to only snatch the hard earned money of poor customers who believe that we are a safe guards of their money ....We ate trained only to offer LI MF SIP PB ACVOUNTS. ..n if customer have some money left than n we got time then q traditional bank product.....One biggest tragedy is " CON CALLS" the biggest time waste concepts this bank is working with...They will make u attend con calls any time ..Just imagine 10 customer sitting in front of you with a request in their hand n u holding your phone for an hour doing nothing and just lis thing the theats or ur bosses for the targets..here BM are LIC Agents DBM are only responsible persons for everything in branch from a customer escalation to a loose tap in wash room ...Other asst managers..are sales officers ..who are ordered not to sit in branch and roam in market for accounts of new customers leaving the present customers in branch for stupidddd products like li mf specialy in peak hours where customer visit branches....timings...9 to the time ur body resist to work...endless meeting ..trainING ...concall of hours...and always a big shortage of employee in branch...They think 3 people are enough to serve 2000 customer of branch...holy shit......plzz look for some good company or bank where people in on bigger post have some common sense to make a bank work and not to only sell life insurance ..Coz in coming years icici prudential will take over icici bank...service on the cost of cheque value of product ......
