If you are interested in CA course after 12th standard then you must opt for 'commerce maths'.
Actually commerce stream is mandatory to do CA after 12th. Maths is not compulsory but it is important as CPT Exam consists of maths also.

After 10th, you can take commerce as your main subject.It helps you a lot as the subjects for CA will be familiar for you from the 11th itself.After completing your 11th and 12th,you should write a CPT(Common Proficiency Test),similar to entrance exams.Its an entry level test,consisting of objective questions .The cutoff for eligibility to join professional competence course is that you should acquire a minimum of 50% in your 12th standard.

go for commerce... And in my opinion u have to choose maths as an optional subject...it is very important.. All the best

the best stream is commerce along with maths!
CA require lots of mathematics calculation along with accountacy!
so prepare for it!
make these two subject very strong and appear for the exam for CA!

To join in CA course , you may choose commerce stream with Business Mathematics in 12th standard . But Any stream candidate are eligible to apply for CA course . If you Belong Commerce stream candidate may easily learn CA course .

So, that I suggest you to apply for 11th standard in Commerce stream . You should concentrate more in 11th standard as well as 12th standard . Because 11th and 12th standard is an Basics for CA course . You should take Special Interest in Accountants Subject and Commerce . This Subject are very Important for CA course .

ICAI :- Institute of Charted Accountant of India . The duration of the course is for four years and the course is divided into Foundation and Intermediate and Final course .

To apply for CA course you should complete 12th standard in any discipline with minimum 50% percentage of marks from recognized university . You should qualified in CPT Examination with good percentage of marks . CPT Examination is Mandatory to join CA course .

CPT Stands for Common proficiency Test . It's an Entry level Examination for CA course . If your interested to apply for CPT Examination then you should complete 10th / 12th standard in any stream with good percentage of marks from recognized university . Final year candidate may also eligible to apply for this Examination .

If qualified in Graduation then you may directly apply for Intermediate Course . CPT Examination is not mandatory for Graduates . You should score good percentage of marks in Graduation .

- For Commerce Stream Candidates :- 55% percentage of marks
- For Science Stream Candidates :- 60% Percentage of marks .

So , If your qualified in Graduation then your eligible to apply for Intermediate course . If your qualified in Intermediate course then your eligible to apply Final course . After Final course you may send for an Training for 15 month .

For CA you need to have mathematics as complusory subject and rest you can go with any other commerce subjects..

To enrol in the CA programme just after passing class 12th, you have to give the CPT exams.
YOu have to first register for the CPT exams.

In the CPT exams questions are asked from the below sections:
Fundamentals of accounting
Mercantile LAWS
General economics
Quantitative Aptitude

So, you should choose the subjects in Class 11th based on the above subjects if they are avaialble in your 11th class in your school or college

for doing CA it is not required to have only commerce. Any stream is eligible for doing CA. but it is better to have commerce as your subject in 11th. In commerce corporate finance would help you better to do CA

I am not intresing in math

If I have taken computer inspite of Economics. It will create trouble to qualify CA.

CA stands for charted accountant which is conducted by institute of charted accountant of India if you want to do this course so you should select commerce in your 12th which has better scope in futures.

CA is one of the most expected profession for all of the commerce student.
After 10th you should choose Acct,CLPA, MATH, Economics for well preparetion of CA. There is CPT exam held twice in a year in the month of June and December for ca, cs and many others foundation.


12th appearing students are eligible to attend the exam. After passing the CPT you may take admission for CA foundation.

If you want to do CA after graduation then you can direct take admission no need CPT and foundation course.
