If you are applying for a technical course like engg. or say biochemistry, then no you cant go for CMJ, i dont know about the other one, but i was going through there (CMJ) documentation, it is not approved by AICTE as of Jan2012 & those who say it is approved are either lying or just dont ve enough information.

CMJ university is only YET registered as a private university under UGC act. It will most likely be approved but not approved yet as "the status of the university with regards to UGC inspection " is PENDING/Awaiting, meaning it is only notified by UGC & can give a degree as private university but is not fully approved as the approval is pending/awaited.

Also it is certainly not affiliated by AICTE: it is ONLY approved to start and conduct new programs and courses, but that does not mean it is affiliated. ESPECIALLY for those who are pursuing any technical degree; your degree is valid only when it is approved by AICTE and CMJ per se is NOT approved BUT only authorized to conduct/start new programmes/ courses.

They state this very clear so please as my humble request, kindly dont pass on the wrong information as you are literally playing with life of numerous people, and just spoiling it, it the worst possible thing....

You can notice that this institute in Meghalaya does not figure in the approved list.

So, better keep clear from it to avoid complications later.
