UGC that is University Grants Commission conducts National Eligibility Test twice every year for Lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship.
Any candidate who has passed master's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 55 % marks in master's degree can apply for the exam. So, if your aggregate percentage of marks in master's degree is 55 or above, you can apply for the exam. For SC/ST candidates, there is an marks relaxation of 5 years. The upper age limit for JRF is 28 years, however there is no upper age limit for Lectureship posts. Official website:www.ugc.ac.in |
