SDM stands for Sub Division Magistrate. The recruitment to this post is done through State Public Service Commission examination. In other words, it is known as PCS examination. The academic qualification required for exam is bachelor's degree.
The age criteria varies from State to State. Generally, age criteria is 21-35 years for most SPSC. In case of Ex Serviceman, 5 years extra upper age relaxation is given. Other than upper age relaxation, there is no other relaxation for defence personnel. |
