I am now 27, I want to join Indian ARMY in technical domain.
Is this possible to join Army at this age? If so than how?

it is only possible if you have following educational qualification :-

MCA age limit-27years
p.hd.(electronics,radio,maths,physics)-age limit -28 years.
m.tech age limit-27 years
m.sc. + b.ed age limit-28 years.

Also there is so called terrestrial Army... I am not sure...

No dear 'bca' certification also cant help you since, you have crossed the age limitthat is 23 years.
and actually 'bca' is ment for female candidate mode of entry to Indian airforce.

tesrrestial army is ment for giveing internal support to army at the time of any emergency or war.here only voluntary retired/non-retired persons from defence service,civil services,IPS,IAS and other related gov.service officer work.they join it at the age of minimum 30years and maximum 55years.

I think It is not ment for outsiders.

Ya you can join the Indian Army in there technical domain,provided that you have does not crossed your age limit that is 27 years for MCA graduates and you should also be medically fit.

to join indian army you have to fulfill these basic criterias:

1)you should be less than 23 years old.
2)you should be medically sound.

after you fulfill these criterias you can then give the following exams to join indian army:

1)CDSE: it is an exam conducted for graduates by UPSC twice an year and can get more information from :

2)UES and SSC: these are the exams conducted by indian army and you can get more information for these enteries from:

you have to write in upsc exam .....and for details about the upsc exam syllabus and eligibility criteria check on the official website......

You can join any of defence services viz- airforce,army or navy,demand of MCA graduate is more in IAF.

However, you can also join Indian army,in there technical as well as logistic cadre.You can enter through-

UES: university entry scheme,notification for it is released inemployment news,firstly after applying for it you have to crack an entrance,then SSB (service selection board),which is consists of GD followed by an interview then medical fitness test.

SSC:short service commission,for 10 years which is extendable upto 14 years and later on permanent commission depending upon performance,notification for it is released inemployment news,firstly after applying for it you have to crack an entrance,then SSB (service selection board),which is consists of GD followed by an interview then medical fitness test.

And few other schemes like technical entry,fast track etc.

for applying in army through technical entry you should have 75% or more in 12th PCM. if you have this much of percentage then the form is released once in a year you can apply for it.

i think,you can not go for army at this stage....................

you can join Indian Army in technical domain if you have scored 75% in PCM in 12th board. you will be called for direct interview.

if you have graduation in technical side means go for it but 28 is the age limit ..

pal, u can only sit for officers training academy and territorial army..
but, u may apply in BRO/naval and army stores/garrison engineers whose exam is conducted through IES

they may be
starting from NDA based on secondary level
then u have CDS based on graduation level a good amount of vacancy for technical as well as non-tech student
another important for engineering student is UES(university entry scheme) ther aare fixed no. of vacancy in each stream of enginering
military engineering services exams are also conduted

you can get chance in Indian Army in technical domain in two ways

1.through UES. which exam you can appear in the final year of your btech.

2.through UPSC exam. this exam you can appear after your graduation course.

if you have completed your graduation then you can appear in CDS(combined defense service) exam for Indian army..
if you have completed your graduation in engineering then you can seat in EKT(engineering knowledge test) exam...
i think the maximum age limit for appear in these type of exam is 23years for bachelor degree holder candidates..

if you are in general caste then you can't apply as you have crossed the age limit.

but if you are in SC/ST category than you can be able to apply on age relaxation basis.
