dear friend,
after completion of your 12th , you have to be appear in JEE(engg).. the eligibility criteria is-you must have physics,maths,chemistry, in your 12th... and you at least have 40% marks in 12th...then you can seat in JEE .. after cracking the entrance exam you can take admission in engineering college in bio-technology stream.. all the best.. |

Further More on Successful completion of a Bachelor's Degree-in Biotechnology is the minimum eligibility criteria required to do a Master's Degree in Biotechnology. In order to do a Ph.D. in Biotechnology, You need to have completed one's Master's Degree in Biotechnology. It is ideal to clear the CSIR - UGC JRF examination in order to pursue a doctoral research in Biotechnology. |

and the percentage criteria depends upon the colleges/ university, if you want to take admission then go to colleges/university site. bye |

To pursue BTech Biotechnology, you must have qualified +2 exam with physics, chemistry and biology. You must visit the official website of the following institute which offers courses in biotechnology: Amity Institute of Biotechnology University of Pune Annamalai University SRM Institute of Science and Technology. Eligibility Criteria states that at 10+2 you need to have Physics, Chemistry & One Subject out of Math/Biology/Biotechnology with minimum 45% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board/University in order to get admission in B.Tech Biotechnology.
This is the general eligibility criteria which is used by almost all universities & colleges. |

The eligibility criteria for B.Tech biotechnology is a plus two in science stream. Candidates should also study PCBM subjects in plus two. For doing the Master’s degree in B.Tech Biotechnology, bachelor’s degree is needed. Research options are also there for this subject. Various career opportunities are there in India and abroad.

For a B.Tech in Biotech, you need to have a science background. You need to write Engineering entrance exams which will help you get admission in colleges offering Biotech as a branch. You will have to qualify the basic eligibility criteria for those exams as mentioned in their forms. Else there are certain other colleges which will admit you on the basis of your 12th marks...for which you will you will have to qualify their prescribed requirements of eligibility... all the best!

If you want to study B.Tech Biotechnology,then you will have to qualify entrance exam. Most of the colleges/ universities conduct their own entrance exam for admission in undergraduate Biotechnology course. Eligibility for B.Tech. Biotechnology – 10+2 with 50% marks in physics, chemistry and Biology from a recognized board. Some universities accept students with Maths subjects also.
