Wht is the eligibility criteria to study B,Tech in Bio technology? Please tell me the criteria

after completion of your 12th , you have to be appear in JEE(engg).. the eligibility criteria is-you must have physics,maths,chemistry, in your 12th... and you at least have 40% marks in 12th...then you can seat in JEE .. after cracking the entrance exam you can take admission in engineering college in bio-technology stream..

Successful completion of 10 + 2 with Science.

Further More on Successful completion of a Bachelor's Degree-in Biotechnology is the minimum eligibility criteria required to do a Master's Degree in Biotechnology.

In order to do a Ph.D. in Biotechnology,

You need to have completed one's Master's Degree in Biotechnology. It is ideal to clear the CSIR - UGC JRF examination in order to pursue a doctoral research in Biotechnology.

Your decision is good. The eligibility is you have to pass your intermediate course at good percentage.

Eligibility criteria- 10+2 passed with science stream.

its nothing to be worry,if you score good marks in 12th more than 70% in chemistry,physics,biology...and also satisfied marks in other subjects...surely you'll get a good college for b.tech in biotechnology.

If you passed 10+2 with science and maths and got good marks then you can apply for b.tech entrance exams like AIEEE, IIT and other state entrance exams.

You must have minimum 50% marks in science subject in your 10+2. After that you have to crack the entrance exam.

the eligibility criteria for B.tech in biotechnology is 12th,
and the percentage criteria depends upon the colleges/ university, if you want to take admission then go to colleges/university site.

The eligiblity criteria for B.Tech biotech is same as any other conventional branch of engg.

1. u must hav passed 12th or its equivalent with 55% aggregate marks.

2. the 12th or its equivalent must be from a recognised board of examination under the state or the central gov scheme.

3. u shud hav chosen science subjects in the HSC or inter level.

For a B.Tech in Biotech, you need to have a science background. You need to write Engineering entrance exams which will help you get admission in colleges offering Biotech as a branch. You will have to qualify the basic eligibility criteria for those exams as mentioned in their forms. Else there are certain other colleges which will admit you on the basis of your 12th marks...for which you will you will have to qualify their prescribed requirements of eligibility... all the best!

If you want to study B.Tech Biotechnology,then you will have to qualify entrance exam.

Most of the colleges/ universities conduct their own entrance exam for admission in undergraduate Biotechnology course.

Eligibility for B.Tech. Biotechnology –

10+2 with 50% marks in physics, chemistry and Biology from a recognized board.

Some universities accept students with Maths subjects also.
