Eligibility and exam dates for Karnataka Administrative Service (KAS)


When will be the Karnataka Administrative Service (KAS) exam conducted for the year 2018? What will be the qualification requirement to apply for this exam? What is the syllabus and hot to get prepared for KAS exam?

Important Dates of KAS Exam:
  • KPSC KAS Notifications release - First week of May
  • Online application starts - Second week of May
  • Last date to apply online - Second week of June
  • Exam Commencement - August 2018

Eligibility:
To be eligible for this exam, you must have completed graduation in any field. You can also appear for this exam if you are in final year of graduation.

Syllabus of KAS Exam:
Paper 1 - General Knowledge
Paper 2 - General Kannada, General English, Computer Knowledge

The notification for Karnataka Administrative Services is yet to be released. There is no updates regarding this examination till now. Once it is available on this official website, you can apply for examination.

Any candidate must meet following eligibility criteria to apply for exam:

Graduates of all discipline are eligible for this examination.

The age limit is 21-35 years for general category candidates.

OBC candidates can get three years upper age relaxation and SC/ST candidates can get five years upper age relaxation.

KAS is conducted for recruitment of officers in the state service.

The examination is conducted every year and the eligibility to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university. The age limit is 21-35 years with relaxation in upper limit for reserved category.


The examination is conducted in three stages and you have to qualify for all stages for final recruitment.

The eligibility criteria for Karnataka State Administrative Services examination:

1. You must have done bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university. Final year graduation candidates can also apply for the examination.

2. The age criteria for KAS exam is 21-35 years. There is three years upper age relaxation for OBC and five years for SC/ST candidates.

It has three stages, preliminary, mains and interview. Application forms and its notification is not yet available. Visit official website for latest updates.

As far as you are concerned about the examination date of KAS 2018 examination then it has not been announced yet but as per the previous year trends, you can expect the examination to held in the month of August and application form for the same examination to be released in the month of May.

--> The basic eligibility criteria required for appearing in KAS examination are as hereunder:-

* You must hold the nationality of India.

* Your age must lie within 21 years to 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the government norms.

* You must have completed bachelor or master degree course in the relevant field from a recognized university.

Karnataka Administrative Services examination is conducted by Karnataka Public Service Commission.

The eligibility criteria for KAS examination;

*Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university of India. Final year graduation candidates can also apply for this exam.

*The age criteria for open category candidates is 21-35 years.

There is no availability of dates of this exam at present. You can download the syllabus from official website of KPSC. Focus on current affairs, read social science subjects to become eligible for History, Geography, economics etc.

The eligibility criteria for Karnataka Administrative Services examination is:

Aspirant should be graduate in any stream. Even final year students can apply for the state civil services.

The age criteria is 21-35 years.

Reserved category candidates are eligible for upper age relaxation.

There is no notification for the exam.

You should wait for notification in which important dates and latest syllabus will be published.

Karnataka Administrative Service examination is held by KPSC for recruitment of admisnistrative office within the state of Karnataka.

* The minimum eligibility criteria for appearing in KAS examination are as below:

i) You must be an Indian citizen.

ii) Your age must lie within 21 years to 35 years. Age relaxation is allowed for reserved category candidates as per the government norms.

iii) You must have completed your bachelor degree course in any discipline from a recognized university.

As far as you are concerned about the dates for KAS 2018 examination then it is not announced yet but as per the trend it is expected to be held in the month of August.
