What is the eligibility criteria followed to apply for KAS exam? Can you please let me know the minimum criteria which is followed? It will be really helpful if you can give me the complete information on the same as soon as possible. Thank you!

KAS stands for "Karnataka Administrative Service"
Eligibility criteria for KAS exam Candidate should Possesses Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree,final year student eligible for KAS. Age criteria:- candidate must have attained the age of 21 years 5 years for SC/ST and category 3 years for Other backward category candidates. 10 years for Physically Handicapped or Widow candidates. KAS stands for Karnataka Administrative Service.
It is conducted by Karnataka state government for recruitment of candidates to the posts coming under Group I&II Civil Services. Eligibility to appear in KAS are -Candidate must hold Bachelor degree in any disciple from a recognized University. -Candidate must be age 21-35 years. -Age relaxation in available up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC. Number of attempts is also limited which is 5 for General and 7 for OBC and no limit for SC/ST. Candidates have to go through 3 phase for final selection which includes two written examination, first Preliminary and Mains and then for Personal Interview. Only the candidates qualified in Preliminary are allowed to appear in Mains then the candidates qualified in Mains are called for interview. KAS stands for Karnataka Administrative Services. It is conducted every year by Karnataka Public Service Commission.
Eligibility criteria for exam is graduation from any recognized university of India. Those who are in final year of their graduation can also apply for exam. Age criteria is 21-35 years for general category. Reserved category candidates will get upper age relaxations. |

The acronym KAS stands for Karnataka Administrative Service.
Examination conducting authority: Karnataka Public Service Commission. Academic eligibility: Graduation or final year candidates can apply. No percentage criteria, passing percentage in graduation is enough to apply for exma. Age criteria: 21-35 years for open category. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidates. Those candidates who have completed Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification are eligible for KAS. Candidate who appear in the final exam of the degree qualification may also appear.
Your age should be in between 21 to 35 years. Upper age limit shall be relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST and category candidates. Upper age limit shall be relaxed by 3 years for Other backward category candidates. Upper age limit shall be relaxed by 10 years for Physically Handicapped or Widow candidates. Attempts limit:- Unlimited number of attempts in case of candidate belongs to SC/ST ( Age limit considered). 7 attempts in case of candidate belongs Other backward caste. 5 attempts to General merit candidates. |
