What is the eligibility criteria followed to apply for KAS exam? Can you please let me know the minimum criteria which is followed? It will be really helpful if you can give me the complete information on the same as soon as possible. Thank you!

KAS stands for "Karnataka Administrative Service"

Eligibility criteria for KAS exam
Candidate should Possesses Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree,final year student eligible for KAS.

Age criteria:-
candidate must have attained the age of 21 years
5 years for SC/ST and category
3 years for Other backward category candidates.
10 years for Physically Handicapped or Widow candidates.

Exam Pattern for KAS exam:
Preliminary exam
Mains
Personality test

KAS stands for Karnataka Administrative Service.
It is conducted by Karnataka state government for recruitment of candidates to the posts coming under Group I&II Civil Services.
Eligibility to appear in KAS are
-Candidate must hold Bachelor degree in any disciple from a recognized University.
-Candidate must be age 21-35 years.
-Age relaxation in available up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.

Number of attempts is also limited which is 5 for General and 7 for OBC and no limit for SC/ST.
Candidates have to go through 3 phase for final selection which includes two written examination, first Preliminary and Mains and then for Personal Interview.

Only the candidates qualified in Preliminary are allowed to appear in Mains then the candidates qualified in Mains are called for interview.
After interview, a final list of selected candidates are published.

KAS is the Kashmir Administrative Services Examination which is conducted and it is a state level examination conducted JKPSC for direct recruitment for various services examination.

KAS - Karnataka Administrative Service

KAS is an exam conducted by the government of Karnataka and as like any other entrance exam you need to satisfy the eligibility criteria framed for the exam and they include:

• Nationality
• Age limit
• Educational Qualification

To be detailed about these criteria's it is mentioned below:

-> The nationality standard needed is citizenship in India.

-> Candidate who has a between minimum age of 21 years and maximum of 35 years is eligible and this is applicable for general category candidate. For other category candidates such as SC/ST and OBC they get relaxation and the relaxation allowed for SC/ST candidate is 5 years and for OBC it is 3 years.

-> Educational qualification needed for applying for KAS exam is candidate should possess either a bachelor's degree or master's degree from a recognized university.
