i had completed 3year diploma in hotel management affiliated to american hotel & lodging association.Do i have any opportunity to join B.Sc hotel management as lateral entry?

you are eligible for it.

yes if you have completed your diploma course the you are eligible to join any degree course,and hence you are eligible to do B.sc in hotel management also.

After deploma you are eligiblie to join the Bsc Hotel Management.....

You must be a diploma holder in hotel management,which is generally of 3 years and six semester course and the institute from where you have passed diploma must be approved by AICTE.

Yes there is an entry scheme for diploma holder in degree as per AICTE guidelines

If you are diploma holder you can get admission for BSc (Hotel Management) through lateral entry. You must score at least 60% marks in your diploma. There are very less seats for lateral entry and high competition.

yes you can.earlier ignou gave that option.they stopped now. currently only ycmou and anjuman islam does the same lateral entry program

As the basic eligibility criteria is that the candidate must be 12th passed out or its equivalent exam in any stream form recognized university

Hotel management bachelor degree -> 3 years
spitted into 6 semester's

Eligibility criteria for getting admission in B.Sc hotel management:

- One should have 3 year diploma degree.

- Must have scored above 50% aggregate.

As you are having 3 year diploma in hotel management so you are eligible and you can get admission through lateral entry scheme.
