Yes, it is possible to join B.E through the lateral entry system. The eligibility for the B.Sc graduates is they have to study through 10+2+3 pattern and studied core mathematics as one of the subjects. They will calculate the overall percentage of marks obtained by the candidates from 1st semester to 6th semester. If selected they will be admitted to the 2nd year engineering course.

If you have completed B.Sc in IT/ CS/ Mathematics/ Statistics from a recognized university then you are eligible for Lateral Entry exam.

Eligibility criteria for the lateral entry exam:-

(i)Passed diploma course in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy with above 60% marks.

(ii)Passed degree in Science (B.Sc.) with Mathematics as a subject with above 60% marks.

Yes, you can join B.E. course after completion of your B.Sc course, but for that you will have to appear for an entrance examination called LEET and to be able to appear for LEET examination, you need to have studied your B.Sc with Mathematics as a subject with more than 60% marks.

Therefore, if you do fulfill the above mentioned criteria you are then most eligible to get admission in B.E course through LEET examination.
