NDA Examination Eligiblity -

NDA : National Defense Academy.

And This Examination was Conducted By UPSC Twice In a year.

This year Both NDA Examination was Already completed and Those who have missed the chance in this year and Interested in NDA Examination, then please apply for this examination Next year.

>> To apply for NDA Examination you need to complete your 12Th examination in any discipline for Army Wings.

>> OR Completed your 12Th with Physics and Maths as a compulsory subjects for Air Force Wings and Naval Wings.

So, If you have completed your 12Th examination and Your age should between 16.5 to 19 years, then you are eligible for NDA (I) 2012 Examination.

If you are Interested then please apply for NDA Examination Online After declaring the Notification.

Eligible candidates may fill the NDA Application form Online OR Offline.

>> The Notification for NDA (I) 2012 Examination was declared on 31/12/2011.

>> Last date of apply for NDA Examination - 30/Jan/2012.

>> Written Examination Date - 15/April/2012.

NDA exam is conducted by UPSC in every year.

Those candidate have completed 12th standard are eligible for NDA exam.

But your age should be in between in 16.5 to 19 years.

The Exam schedule is already announced in UPSC site.

NDA (National Defence Academy) is one of the platforms through which you can express your indomitable spirit for your own country India.

Eligibility for Indian Army :
1:You should pass 12(10+2)th or its equivalent from State Board / Universities. you can also apply as appearing for 12th examination.

2:Marital Status:Unmarried

3:Sex :Male.

4:Age Limit : Between 16.5 and 19.

5:Nationality:

You have to be A citizen of India, or

subject of Bhutan, or

subject of Nepal, or

Tibetan refugee .

Application Forms are published in any leading newspapers during March or April every year and entrance examination to be held by the UPSC six months later from the application form is published.

The UPSC (NDA) exam is conducted twice a year (April and October)in all major cities throughout India.

Each year course start twice January and July.

Selection Procedure: National Defence Academy selects the candidates in three phases :

i)A written examination by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC).

ii)An interview by the Service Selection Board(SSC) to check the potentialities Intelligence and personality.

iii)A medical examination by a Service Medical Board(SMB).

The written examination is of two papers of all objective type questions.

i)Mathematics of 2.5 hours maximum number 300 including Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics.

ii)General Ability test of 2.5 hours maximum number 600 including General English, General Knowledge,Physics,Chemistry,General Science,History,Freedom Movement,Geography,Current Event

After clearing the written exam you will be called for a five-day interview process with the State Selection Board (SSB) which is the final step of selection.

On completion of the NDA course, you are sent to the respective service academies for your pre-commission training.

To get into the National Defense Academy, you must have qualified +2 level of exam from a recognized board.
Admission to National Defense Academy is done on the basis of an examination conducted by union public service commission and is known as NDA exam.
The examination is conducted twice a year and candidates within the age limit of 16 1/2 years-19 years.
To apply for the exam, you may choose either the online mode or the offline mode of application.
The offline application forms are available at designated post offices and head post offices.
To apply online, you will have to visit www.upsconline.nic.in.

National Defense Academy (NDA) exam is conducted by upsc twice in a year to intake qualified Candidate for different department in Defense service like Indian Airforce, Indian Navy,Indian Army etc.

Eligibility criteria for NDA-I/NDA-II exam:
Education qualification: Minimum candidate should complete 12th class with PCM stream.
Age Limit: Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.
Citizenship: Indian

NDA-I and NDA-II exam are conducted twice in year, because the person who was not able to attend for NDA-I exam, he can apply for NDA-II exam in the same year, without having gap between the education.

NDA-I exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 31st Dec 2011 to 30th Jan 2012.
Exam will held on 15th April 2012.
NDA-II exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 5th May 2012 to 4th June 2012.
Exam will held on 19th Aug 2012

2. 6/6 vision is required.
3.Age limit = 16.5 to 19 years.

2. You must be a male candidate.
3. You must have passed your 10+2 from a recognized board.
Final year students are also eligible, provided that their 10+2 will be completed meanwhile.

Eligibility for NDA exam:-

1.ARMY WING:-

The candidate must have complete the 12th in any trade..

2.AIR FORCE and NAVAL:-

The candidate must have complete the 12th in science stream having physics and maths..

Age eligibility:-

1.The age should be in between 16.5-19 years..

So, you have to fulfill all these criteria to appear in NDA exam..

NDA stands for National Defence Academy

NDA is a defence service exam and this exam is conducted by UPSC and is held every year twice namely as NDA I and NDA II.

For writing this exam the candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria and they may include:

> Candidate must have a citizenship in India.

> Candidate must be a unmarried male candidate

> Candidate appearing for the NDA Exam must have a age limit of 16 1/2-19 years.

> Regarding the education qualification for the NDA Exam candidates need to have completed +2 from a recognized school board of education.

> candidates appearing for the NDA exam must be physically fit.
