Sir/madam, I completed my m.tech in electronics and communication in 2015 with 67% from vtu, Belgaum. Now I would like to know that am I eligible for kset, net exams? I wish to know the exam dates of kset 2016 and net 2016 dates? And syllabus for both the exams. Kindly let me know sir.

Eligibility for Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) 2016

* Candidates who have secured at least 55% of marks for general category and 50% for SC/ST/OBC in Master degree in any stream are eligible to apply for this test

* There is no upper age limit to apply for KSET examination.

Syllabus for KSET exam

Syllabus for KSET examination is same as in UGC/CSIR-NET so, you can download your respective subject with the help of this link http://kset.uni-mysore.ac.in/subject-list

[B]KSET QUESTION PAPER PATTERN 2016[/B

Test will be comprising of three papers and all three papers will be of MCQ.

>> Online application will commence from August 2016

>> Last date of submission of online application form is September 2016

>> Date of examination : December 2016

Exact Dates of KSET Exam are not announced yet. However, tentative schedule is mentioned here.

• Application starts from July 2016
• Last date to apply August 2016
• Last date to apply (with late fee) September 2016
• Date of Examination December 2016

UGC Net Exam is already conducted.

Important Dates of UGC NET Exam are:

• Application starts from 12th april, 2016
• Last date to apply: 12th May 2016
• Last date to pay exam fee: 13th may 2016
