I m from bhopal.I m doing B.E(IT) n presently i m in IIyr.I belong to general category.
i got 82.2% in 12th n my Ist yr aggregate is 8.00
plz may i knw wht all scholarships can i get....????

Scholarships are the ones which are given to honor any student for his/her performance in terms of studies or any other field.


So now coming to your case, you say that you have got 82% in your 12th boards exams and in your 1st year you have scored an 8 pointer.

I must tell you that you could have got a scholarship once you had passed out of your 12th and entered any college.

At that time, some of the private colleges give scholarships to the students who have scored more than 80% in their 12th boards.


Once you have not got that, you have taken up Engineering and now in 2nd year.


There are further chances of getting scholarships depending on which college you are studying in .

Government colleges do not provide any kind of scholarships, but private ones do.


Please verify this with your college, I know if you rank in the top 5 students of your whole University then you are eligible for some quota of scholarships.


Otherwise, since you are a general category student no other scholarships is available for you.

there is a scholarship especially for 2nd year students called as RECPDCL by rural electrification corporation limited.

Another scholarship is o.p. jindal scholarship called as OPJEMS.
