Which engineering college would be preferable for my son?VIT or a college like CBIT in Hyderabad.He stands good chance in both the institutes.Kindly let me know which of these colleges would be better , faculty wise,placement wise and also the environment.

I would suggest VIT vellore over CBIT hyderabad due to the following reasons:-
1.VIT is a deemed university
2.Better placement records as well as international tie ups
3.Better campus and on campus facilities.

For B. tech mechanical engineering, is CBIT, Hyderabad better or is SRM university (deemed) better? I'm talking in terms of placement, infrastructure, faculty and things like CAD training etc.
