i am an ent surgeon working as an assistant professor in the medical college with five years of teaching experience interested in skull base surgery. please let me know whether i am eligible for neurosurgery

i am about to finish my MS surgery( may)? i want to know what all text books and guides one must read for Mch nerosurgery exam sure shot( like the one we used to read for PG entrance exam - Mudit Khanna..... Amit Ashish.....AAA etc). is it must to take break from senior residency (if one is doing so)for exam preparation ???
