Hello friend,
To pursue course in architecture and thereafter practice as an architect, you must qualify National Aptitude Test in Architecture conducted by Council of Architecture. The Council of Architecture regulates the course in architecture and also regulates professional architects.
Any individual who has qualified a degree course in architecture without qualifying National Aptitude Test in Architecture, will not be allowed to practice as an Architect as per the council of architecture's standard.

To become an architect you have to pass the NATA exam i.e National Aptitude Test in Architecture conducted by Council of Architecture.

But there are some colleges as under in which you can also apply as they conduct their individual entrance exams-

> IITs: Roorkee or khargpur
>School of planning and architecture (SPA),New Delhi
> National Institute of Technology (NITs) jaipur, bhopal etc
> J.J. school of architecture(mumbai)

i have completed my B.sc.in chemestry hons. n now i want to do diploma course in architecture from kolkata. how do i apply plz suggest me

For Architect you have to qualify the A.I.E.E.E exam.

A.I.E.E.E exam is conducted by C.B.S.E once in a year.

It is a national level exam.

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass 12th with Physics, chemistry and maths with minimum 50% marks.
> Must be above 17 year and below 25 year.
> Must be citizen of India.

Should i need to write nata although if i have qualify B.arch?
