Examination pattern of ISAT 2011?
sir, till last year there were two papers. but this year exam is only three hours. how many questions will be there ? how many papers will be there ? please reply. thanking you. a.n.s.sankara vrao

if you are asking about the international student admission test, then the new pattern will be known only when the registrations open ,that will be from march 7th 2011, to keep an track of the latest changes if any i am giving you the link which is http://isat.acer.edu.au/ also i am attaching the sample paper given in the website |

Admissions to the undergraduate programmers (B.Tech.) at IIST for the year 2011 will be made through an All India Admission Test (ISAT-2011).
Schedule of ISAT-2011 The examination will be held on Saturday, 16th April, 2011 between 09:30 AM to 12:30 PM (IST) (The schedule will remain unaltered even if the above date is declared a public holiday). ELIGIBILITY FOR ISAT-2011 Candidates must make sure that they satisfy all the eligibility conditions given below for appearing in ISAT-2011: 1.Citizenship Only Indian citizens are eligible to write ISAT-2011. 2. Date of Birth The date of birth of candidates belonging to GEN, OBC categories should be on or after October 1, 1986, while the date of birth of those belonging to SC, ST and PD categories should be on or after October 1, 1981. (The date of birth as recorded in the high school/first Board/ Pre-University certificate/or its equivalent will be accepted). 3.Year of passing Qualifying Examination (QE) A candidate must have passed the QE ( 10 + 2 ) for the first time, in the calendar year 2010 or 2011. Those who are going to appear in the QE after July 1, 2011 or expecting the results of QE later than July 1, 2011 are not eligible to apply for ISAT-2011. 4.Minimum Percentage of Marks in Class X or equivalent examination. Candidates belonging to GEN and OBC categories must secure at least 70% marks in aggregate in their Class X or equivalent examination, while, those belonging to SC, ST and PD categories must secure at least 60% marks in aggregate in their Class X or equivalent examination. 5. Minimum Percentage of Marks in 10 + 2 or equivalent examination Candidates belonging to GEN and OBC categories must secure at least 70% marks in the aggregate in their Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) papers in their QE, while, those belonging to SC,ST and PD categories must secure at least 60% marks in the aggregate in their PCM papers in their QE. 6.RESERVATION OF SEATS As per Government of India rules candidates belonging to certain categories are admitted to seats reserved for them based on relaxed criteria. These categories are: *Scheduled Castes (SC) *Scheduled Tribes (ST) *Other Backward Castes (OBC) belonging to Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) *Physically Disabled (PD) candidates. All questions will be of objective type and will consist of three separate sections in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The answer for each question is to be recorded on a specially designed machine-gradable sheet of paper.
