After completion of the B.tech you have number of opportunities.Either in private sector or in public sector it means government sector.

In private sector software companies are available. those conduct the exams for the interview purpose.

Hello friend,
Since you have completed BTech in Electronics and Telecommunication engineering, I would suggest you to write engineering service exam conducted by the union public service commission.
Apart from being a graduate in engineering, you must be within the age limit of 21-30 years.
The examination is conducted in only four disciplines of engineering including electronics and telecommunication engineering.

If you want to work in government and in core field,then appear for Indian Engineering service exam.Indian Engineering Service exam is conducted by upsc every year once.This exam is conducted to intake qualified engineers for Government sector in different departments.

Eligibility criteria for Indian Engineering Service exam:
Education qualification:
Candidate should minimum graduation degree in Engineering from a Mechanical/Civil/Electric Stream.
Age limit:
Age should be between 21 to 30 years.

Indian Engineering Service exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 25th Feb 2012 to 24th March 2012.
Exam will held on 15th June 2012.

of course priyanka has given you the list of the various opportunities that you can explore but as regarding the software the situation is not that good.
you will find yourself doing the data entry type work rather than on your core sector.
my advice is that if you r wlling to go into the private sector try to do the industral training from CDEC from any of the branch across the country. its session will start n FEB. DETAILS at cdecnoida.in .
or if you are willing to go into the public sector exams just start preparing for gate 2012.
once you get into the public sector you will get ample time to work on other career opportunities of PG.They will sponser you to do the mtech or mba with full fees payment.
or you can think about the big exams like ENGG SERVICES for that you may get into the teaching.
