How to join drdo? after BE or after doing m tech?? Are there any exams to get into drdo? What is the eligiblity criteria for these exams?

Hi friend,

Only BTech is sufficient for DRDO. Each year a SET: scientist entry test is organised by DRDO. Depending upon the vacancies scientists have been recruited accordingly. They can be 50 only or 150. This year was not organised.
Generally date of exam comes is first sunday of the september. Syllabus of the exam is same as of engineering services. GK and engineering studies.

Generally they will give a notification of jobs in drdo.
The criteria for eligibility will be
60% aggregate through out your education
having good knowledge in your core subject.

u can join after doing btech.there is exam to get into drdo.u can look out the notifications.

Yes you will need to appear UPSC exam and also clear their interview round. The eligiblity is that you must be a graduate ie after BE.
So give it a try

Eligibility Criteria ::

:: Any graduate in Engineering/ Medicine / Agriculture or Post Graduate in Science can apply for this reputed course offered by the University.

Selection Criteria:

• Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of Entrance Examination conducted by the University.

the minimum educational qualification to join in DRDO is you have to pass B.E or B.tech.
after that you have to give an entrance examination SET. also you may recruit in DRDO if you have a very good score in GATE examination.
but before recruiting there will be an interview and also some medical test.

there is exam SET which is organised every year by DRDO. on the base of this exam you can recruite in DRDO as a scientist. they provide fellowship to these scientists. so BEST OF LUCK and prepare for SET..

Ans - to join the DRDO the only necessry condition is B.E/B.TECH with 60% marks from any recognised university/institutions. A candidate who have done AMIE/AMIETE/AMIME/AMICE/AESI or other associate membership examination which is recognised by MHRD with 60% can also join DRDO.

To join DRDO you have to appear for DRDO-SET.

Eligibility Criteria :-

1) Education :- You have to get at least first class in BE/B.Tech in the streams Chemical Engg/ Mechanical Engg /Electronics & Communication Engg / Computer Science & Engg/ Electrical Engg from a recognized
University.

2) Age Limit :- 28 years

3) Nationality :- Only Indian can apply.

Candidates appearing in the final examination (final semester) may also apply.

Exam Pattern of DRDO-SET :-
Questions consist of two sections -
1) Section A:- 100 questions to test your knowledge in the technical.

2) Section B:- 50 questions to test your aptitude relevant to Applied Research & Development.

Forms generally available in December every year.

If you got spirits to join in DRDO then all you got to do is just to take the SET or some related exams they conduct every year...This year there is a test to be conducted on 7th feb.....for more info log on to http://www.drdo.gov.in.

Candidates who has a BTec or who are undergoing the last semester of BTech can apply for DRDO exam. DRDO conducts SET (Scientist Entrance Test) on General aptitude, Eletrical, Eletronics and communication, computers and instrumentation). They take even Mtech students at a higher scientist grade.

Eligibility criteria depends on the Grade of scientist you are going to apply,also depends on the branch you are in.etc.,

For example to become scientist of Grade 'G' you also should have some experience.

CAN I JOIN DRDO AFTER10 2 AND APPLYING PRODURE

i am an mtech 1st year student. i have done my b tech in electronics and comm. with more than 6.5 cgpa. can i sit for the exam even though i am an mtech pursuing candidate ???

BTech is just sufficient to get a job in DRDO.If you secure a good rank in the competitive exam like GATE then you may recruit in DRDO.But before this you have to to qualify the interview round.

To get entered in DRDO is everybody's dream but i like your spirit and enthusiam about your future and career.

My dear friend to get entered in DRDO specific question is not the criteria.What's more important is your passion about that organization and towards your studies and knowledge.

But if you pursue B.tech or have completed that then i informed you that every year DRDO organised SET EXAMINATION in which he hired b.tech aspirants of various stream.

So get prepare well and go for the examination.

In this year they will probably start this process in the month of may-june.

to get into DRDO you have to graduate first.so sorry freind you can not get into DRDO after 12th class.
To get into DRDO you have to give SET exam for that through that they select guy.

You can't apply right now as you are not eligible for DRDO.
It requires a minimum of graduation degree with minimum of 60% marks throughout.

to get into DRDO, you have to give compaptive exams which are conducted by the DRDO.

generally DRDO hire given below category holders

>>ME/M.TECH OR BE/B.TECH.

>>Diploma in engineering holder.

>>master in science holder.

>>graduate in science holders.

etc.

the eligibility criteria for to join in the DRDO is

>>minimum 65% marks in gradution or post graduation.

>>age limit is 21-28 years.
